Last Call // Theorem 5.6

Theorem 5.6 – Four Roles: The four roles that exist in the heterosexual hook-up and dating world are as follows:

1)     the female
2)     the male she is committed to
3)     the other male
4)     the other female

Proof:  The first three roles create the least costly love triangle.  There is the female, the male she is committed to in whatever shape, way or form, and the other male the female has most likely layered on the side.  In other words, a male who knows about all the males before him that are still having sex with the female.

As a male, there is a choice between two roles, being the main male or the other male.  As a main male, one will usually know far less sexually about the female they are partnered with, since there will be sexual secrets, both physical and mental no doubt.  As the other male, one will likely know the most about the female sexually, and will likely have better sex than the main male—that is, until that other male is layered by an other-other male in turn.  In laymen’s terms, this is referred to as the female monkey bar system.

However, the wiser male knows how to be the other male at the start, temporarily becomes the main male for a period of time, yet flips back into the other male role once a new male comes along, or the original main male comes back into the picture.  This is easily done, since the wiser male is operating under an honestly non-monogamous lifestyle.  The alternative after becoming the main male is simply to get layered once the next alternative alpha male comes along and plays the other male role.  (Whew.)

Oh yes, I almost forgot, there is a fourth role—the other female.  However, for the double dipping male who chooses to have an other female in addition to a main female, there is definitely a price to pay.
